Doha College: A Leading British International School – Jude Harris, Jestico + Whiles
Jestico + Whiles will describe its competition winning proposals to design a new campus and facilities for Doha College, which is one of the world’s leading British international schools. The all through school can accommodate around 2,500 pupils from primary through to sixth form, and includes state-of‑the‑art academic, sports and arts facilities. Despite the harsh climate the 9 hectare campus is designed as a ‘learning resource’, with external educational environments that reflect the curriculum and support the process of learning, enrich the experience of learning and extend the opportunities for learning.
International School Ho Chi Minh City: Ian Bogle, Bogle Architects
Ian Bogle will discuss the design of this high density Secondary School in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Working within a highly constrained site Ian will explore how Bogle Architects maximised the site opportunity to align the environmental requirements alongside the school’s teaching and innovative learning models.
