Taking Learning Outdoors in Any Space: Heena Dave, Learning through Landscapes

The national school grounds charity, Learning through Landscapes, has over 30 years’ experience in supporting schools and nurseries across the UK to make the most of their outdoor space for learning and play. Offering a wide range of cross curricular opportunities, learning outdoors in school grounds also supports social and emotional development as well as a child’s mental health and wellbeing.  Heena Dave, LtL’s Programmes and Partnerships Manager, will summarise the value and benefits of taking learning outdoors, including making the most of what you have, identifying simple grounds changes and highlighting example learning activities whatever outdoor space you have access to.
