Biography

Ian has extensive experience in arts and culture, healthcare, low-energy masterplanning, universities, schools, workplaces, and innovative housing projects, including One Brighton, the country’s first One Planet Living housing development, the repair and renewal of Southbank Centre, masterplanning for the  Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and the LSE and schools in the UK and Bangladesh. Ian also leads the practice’s Research and Innovations Team, and is Visiting Professor of Environmental Design and Architecture UCL IEDE.
